I would recommend that designers seek to get represented in local press and websites like chambers of commerce which can further reinforce local expertise and boost search engine rankings via any links generated.

    The example site you shared certainly seems to have gone to intentional or inadvertent lengths to obscure their location; even researching their domain does not reveal their location. The lone PA reference is the only clue.
