Project Spotlight: Floating Shelves Create Modern Focal Point

Like the old adage about the shoemaker’s kids going barefoot, those in the design industry often put off their own remodeling projects while they take care of the needs of their clients. But when Amytis Exclusive Kitchens Senior Designer Atousa Givi remodeled her own kitchen with the help of Amytis CEO Emad Behbahani, she envisioned a modern, ergonomic and bright kitchen with plentiful storage, lots of textural interest and unique elements like floating shelves. Bright wood tones in the REHAU RAUVISIO terra Mission Maple base cabinets and floating shelves and high-gloss RAUVISIO brilliant Magnolia walls and tall cabinets offer the desired light and brightness, while modern hardware solutions and accessories improve storage access.
To add a unique element to the space, designer Atousa Givi and Emad Behbahani incorporated REHAU floating shelves in RAUVISIO terra Mission Maple into the kitchen, creating a lighter, more open-feeling storage alternative to wall cabinets, while complementing the hardware-free design of the modern cabinetry.
