A member of the National Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame, Leslie Hart is a widely recognized industry journalist and branding expert with experience in trade and consumer media, as well as with advertising agencies.
As long-time editor and publisher of Kitchen & Bath Business, she became a powerful voice for the industry, and she also helped to develop trade shows and conferences.
On the consumer side, she directed a strategic marketing department at Meredith Corporation, publishers of Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Beautiful Kitchens & Baths and other leading magazines.
Hart is versed in all segments of the industry, having created custom magazines and books for Sub-Zero and Wolf and industry buying groups, as well as Home Depot.
She has an in-depth understanding of kitchen and bath consumers and authored a popular Consumer Insights column for Kitchen & Bath Design News.
At several ad agencies, Hart developed branding strategies and marketing programs for manufacturers, design firms and DPH showrooms. These included public relations programs, media plans, advertising campaigns, marketing communications materials, websites and e-marketing campaigns.
Currently a consultant, Hart divides her time between New York City and Portland, ME.
